Compute each person's monthly commission payout, manage their assigned tier, and see how the numbers are built.
Takes the live service commission basis we already produce and runs each person through their assigned tier formula to compute the monthly payout. The commission figures are computed on the fly; only the monthly minimum-wage rates are saved.
Every active staffer's commission tier, in plain language. Change a tier from the dropdown on their row — it saves right away and every change is logged. This is the single source of truth (it replaces the old sheet).
For every person, we start from what they sold and peel off the bits the salon doesn't keep, until we reach the number their commission % is paid on. Then their tier decides that %.
"Quota" tiers are for stylists: they pay one rate up to a target (the "quota"), then a higher rate on everything above it — a reward for beating the target. The number (1/2/3) is just which quota schedule applies. "NS" tiers are Non-Stylist (manicurists, assistants, HTE, support). IR is an entry-level stylist.
30% on basis up to ₱500k, then 35% on anything above ₱500k.
e.g. basis ₱600k → 30%×500k + 35%×100k = ₱185,000
25% up to ₱200k, then 30% above ₱200k.
e.g. basis ₱300k → 25%×200k + 30%×100k = ₱80,000
20% up to ₱350k, then 25% above ₱350k. (The most common stylist tier.)
e.g. basis ₱400k → 20%×350k + 25%×50k = ₱82,500
Banded — the whole basis is re-rated as it grows: ≤₱100k = 10%; ≤₱200k = 15%; ₱200–350k = ₱30k + 20% of the part over 200k; over ₱350k = ₱50k + 25% of the part over 350k.
⚠ Note: by the sheet's formula, crossing ₱350k actually drops the payout ~₱10k. The Monthly Payouts tab flags anyone near this.
10% of basis — bumped to 15% if their gross-less-VAT (G) tops ₱50k for the month.
5% of basis — bumped to 10% if their gross-less-VAT (G) tops ₱50k.
No service commission (receptionists, stock, ops heads). Earns 0 on services. If someone here has a basis, the Monthly Payouts tab flags it for review.
Management / executive staff. No service commission — earns ₱0 on services. Same as NS0 on the money, but tagged separately so management is distinct from front-desk/stock support.
A staffer who does perform services but isn't yet eligible for commission (e.g. still on probation). Earns ₱0 for now. Unlike NS0, having a basis is expected here, so it isn't flagged as an error — switch them to a paid tier once promoted.
These rules are replicated in code from the master commission sheet and applied to live data.
